Slimming World - WEEK 12 - Mar 2016



Fri 18th  Mar  2016 – Day  71
Happy Friday, back at work this morning after a week at home recovering!
Breakfast: Overnight Oats with raspberries
Lunch: Tomato Mug Shot with Turkey salad
Dinner: Bun less Bacon & cheese burger with chips & mayo

My day was going well & synfree, until my drive home from work… I was involved in a small car tip!! All parties are ok, as is my car
It shook me and upset me, which resulted in the planned spaghetti Bolognese staying in the fridge and us going out for dinner/comfort food!!!

Breakfast: Out for breakfast & the day, I choose 2 poached eggs on brown toast.
(I ate him self’s mushrooms & tomato’s but there were floating in grease!!)

Food Shop in & meals planned for the day
Breakfast: 2 x Boiled Eggs  (2 syns for better)
Lunch: Bagel Slim (HEB) light cheese triangle (1.5) Ham, tomato, beetroot & rocket
Dinner: SW chips, boiled rice, chicken pieces, mushrooms & 28g mayflower curry (4 syns)

Mon 21st  Mar  2016 – Day  74
Back to work and proper routine
Breakfast: 35g Bran Flakes & skimmed milk (HEA &HEB)
Lunch: Tomato Mugshot & Turkey Salad (synfree)
Dinner: SW Chips, double cheese burger with salad & mushrooms (2 syns for cheese single)
Came home with a really bad headache! Not sure if it was because I didn’t have tea until 6.30pm or from sugar withdrawals, either way I took 2 painkillers & had a early night

Tues 22nd Mar  2016 – Day  75
Head ache gone and feeling a bit more positive
Breakfast: 2 x Egg muffins & beans

Dinner: Bacon, Potatoes & Turnip
Spent my evening attempting to make the Naked Blondies Lemon Drizzle Cake (8 syns for the whole cake) Mine was very zingy & super eggy

Weds 23rd Mar  2016 – Day  76
First morning to take a hayfever tablet!!
Breakfast: 2 x Egg muffins & beans
Lunch: Bagel Slim (HEB) light cheese triangle (1.5) Turkey, tomato, beetroot & rocket
Dinner: Turkey Bolognese with mushrooms
Over my syns from some cake sampling!! (it was worth it)

Thurs 24th Mar  2016 – Day 77

Breakfast: Overnight Oats with raspberries
Lunch: Bagel Slim (6) light cheese triangle (1.5) Turkey, tomato & beetroot

Weigh in = up 1.5lbs - I should have been up last week, so guess this is my week week catching up with me!!!! 
Dinner in my mums was a yummy off plan cheesy pasta

Slimming World Egg Muffins / Mini Quiches


Hi All,

No day by day food diary this week!! I've been at home sick Sunday - Thursday, so there isnt any point! i was off plan and just eating what I could keep down!! 

I did make it to Weigh in on Weds and I can report that I was down one pound

Weight lost to date: Week 11:  -9lbs


I've had a few people ask me over the last few weeks how do I make my Egg Muffins and I always gush about how easy they are!! (Which they are) 
I've been making these for a long time now and find them an easy way to get my speed in at breakfast


Slimming World Egg Muffins / Mini Quiches 

Ingredients:

Silicon cupcake tray ( find this the easiest to use & clean)
Frylight
Fillings: (I used)
3 x slices of ham
3 x big Mushrooms
2 x tomatoes
3 x eggs
dash of milk from HEA
Salt & pepper


Egg Muffin Ingredients

Method:

1. Spray your tray with Frylight & preheat your oven to 180 degrees


2. Chop up all ingredients


Slimming World Egg Muffins / Mini Quiches 
3. Add ingredients to each case

 4. break 3 eggs & add dash of milk


5. mix with a fork/ whisk and add salt & pepper

6. Pour mixture into each case about half way (I then stir the ingredients to mix)

7. Put in your preheated oven for 20 mins at 180




8. Once the time is up, I turn off the oven but leave the muffins in there for another 5 minutes, (you'll see that they have risen up out of the cases...)



9. Eat if that's your plan, or take them out to cool before storing them in containers for the week ahead..

**I'm told that they freeze well but I haven't tried this myself!!****

Slimming World - WEEK 10 - Mar 2016



I have 7 pounds to loose in the next 3 weigh in’s to get to my first target of 1 stone before the Easter weekend…

Week 10



Fri 4th  Mar  2016 – Day  57
My day started with a flat tyre and being late for work!!
I went out for dinner  & then onto a Removal.. I counted all my syns, even tho I went over
Breakfast: 2 x Egg muffins with beans
Lunch: Toasted Slimbo (5) Light cheese triangle (1.5) Ham & Salad
Dinner: 1 x prawn cracker (1) 3 x chicken skewers in satay sauce (13.5) Beef in Blackbean sauce with mushrooms, carrots & boiled rice (8)
+ picky bits (15)
Litres of Water & 44 syns

Sat 5th   Mar  2016 – Day  58
Skipped Spinning this morning because I was tired/too lazy to get up
Breakfast: Yogurt & Raspberries
Brunch: Bagel Slim (HEB) 2 x sausages (2) bacon medallions, egg, mushrooms & tomato
Dinner: Synfree Slimming World Fanta chicken with boiled rice & SW chips
Was out tonight at a show with a friend, I drove and drank 7up free, so that I could have a twirl (9) when I got home (True Story)

Sun 6th    Mar  2016 – Day  59
Knew today would be off plan, so I had a quick on plan breakfast and got the weeks shopping in before my busy day began
Breakfast: 35g Shreddies with skimmed milk (HEA & HEB)
Dinner: 3 course Dinner out for mothers day (Fish Cakes, steak & pear tart)
Enjoyed my day, we had dinner at 2pm and I didn’t eat again for the evening! I had planned too but was too full

Mon 7th Mar  2016 – Day  60
Got to work to discover not only a rip in the sole of my shoe but also a hole in my work trousers!!! Not a good start!

Dinner: SW Spaghetti Bolognese with mushrooms (sprinkle of Italian Cheese 2 syns)
Skipped spinning! Didn’t have a great day and wasn’t in the form for it!!

Early start as we’re car sharing for the week, while the car’s in the “hospital”
Breakfast: 2 x Egg Muffins with beans
Lunch: Toasted Bagel (HEB) bacon, rocket & cherry tomato’s, 1.5 syns for light cheese triangle
Dinner: Bacon, Turnip & Potatoes
Any one else just not a fan of Tuesdays!! MEH

Happy Hump Day
Breakfast: 2 x Egg Muffins with beans
Lunch: Toasted Bagel (HEB) with chicken salad
Dinner: Double Turkey burger with Cheese (2) Salad & SW chips
Very cranky this evening!! There was defo a some Hangry moments!! Dinner was good but I didn’t realise the turkey burgers cook so quick (lesson learned)

Thurs 10th Mar  2016 – Day  63
I wonder what tonight’s weigh in will bring!!
Breakfast: Overnight Oats
Lunch: 2 x Egg Muffins with beans & Salad
Went to early weigh in & had to skip the meeting (dad's birthday), I was down 1lb and was little disappointed.. BUT looking back over my weekend, I had 2 days over my syns and no exercise..
So 1 pound a week will get me to target.. just very slowly!!
